Raise the Stakes

The World Vision 40 Hour Famine is New Zealand’s most popular youth fundraising event. Originating in 1975 in response to the immense famine in Ethiopia, 10,000 New Zealanders united together to raise $265,000. 34 years later it’s become part of New Zealand youth culture with over 120,000 participating each year.

I just wanted to let you know that I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Famine this year.

Please sponsor me to take part in the Famine. It will make a world of difference, creating hope and a future for many children.

You could sponsor me in person or online at http://www.famine.org.nz/thesidestrip through my own Online Famine Profile. It’s easy. Just click this link and provide your details. The Famine website is secure and accepts all major credit cards.

Thank you for considering sponsoring me in helping to provide the basics of life. It’s a way to get involved and have fun whilist providing support for malnourished children around the world.
