As part of Rugby World Cup final, this coming Saturday three  RWC legends will be visiting Land Rover’s Mini Terrapod in Waitemata Plaza in Auckland.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the former Rugby internationals (Zinzan Brooke, Will Greenwood and Phil Waugh ) and get their autographs the day before the Rugby World Cup 2011 Final.

As Official Vehicle of RWC 2011, Land Rover has brought their Mini Terrapod to provide fanswith an opportunity to experience the Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover Sport. This all-terrain simulator gives visitors a chance to get a feel for the capabilities and performance of these world-class vehicles. A drive around the man-made track with an instructor at the wheel includes travelling sideways on a 27 degree slope and over simulated potholes that leave the vehicle on three wheels.

From 1.30pm on Saturday, the three very special Rugby guests – New Zealander and RWC 1987 winner Zinzan Brooke, Former England International and RWC 2003 winner Will Greenwood and Former Australian International RWC 2003 runner-up Phil Waugh – will be present at the Mini Terrapod to meet fans, sign autographs and take people on this exciting driving experience.

If you can’t make Saturday afternoon then this family experience will be available between 1pm and 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is situated on Waitemata Plaza, 119 Customs Street.

Land Rover’s support of RWC 2011 and RWC 2015 builds on the company’s well-established, long term relationship with Rugby. Land Rover is proud to have been Official Vehicle of the British & Irish Lions, supporting them on their 2005 and 2009 tours to New Zealand and South Africa. In the UK, Land Rover has been Official Vehicle of both England Rugby and Premiership Rugby since 2002, and is committed to developing the grassroots of the Game through the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, a nationwide tournament for under 11s and under 12s. They were also the Official Vehicle of the final phase of the Top 14 Orange in France and Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens 2010
